Your proven track record of delivering high-quality designs and driving work across teams will be invaluable in this role. Key Responsibilities: Drive a compelling vision and strategy for complex domain areas, persuading a wide audience of cross-functional stakeholders through well-crafted visual storytelling. Lead multiple initiatives from inception to launch, overseeing the quality of other designers' work in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment. Deliver high-quality designs and prototypes that balance user needs with business objectives and technical requirements. Actively contribute to Airbnb's design language system, including conversational design patterns. Your Expertise To excel in this role, you will need: 10+ years of hands-on product design experience, with 2+ years of experience leading projects and/or initiatives. Domain experience designing for complex domain areas, such as multi-sided marketplaces. Past experience with messaging is a plus, but not required. Proficiency across UX thinking and systems design, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping. A track record of designing and shipping high-quality products and user experiences across multiple platforms (e.g., Web, Mobile Web, Android, iOS) for complex domain areas. Effectiveness in working collaboratively on platform teams. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and levels of the organization. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits Airbnb offers a competitive compensation package, with a base pay range of $192,000 - $236,500 USD, depending on factors such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. You may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
