Above all, you should be passionate about using technology to make a meaningful social impact and thrive in a fast growth, mission-driven environment.Here Is What You’ll Be Doing Day-To-Day:Technical Leadership: Lead architectural decisions and set coding standards for the frontend team.Code Development: Write and review high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and designers to align technical solutions with business needs.Mentorship and Coaching: Support engineers by providing guidance, code reviews, and learning opportunities.Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the user interface.System Design: Architect and implement solutions for complex technical challenges in the frontend ecosystem.Tooling and Automation: Create and improve development tools to streamline workflows and deployments.User Experience Focus: Ensure the delivery of intuitive, accessible, and visually appealing interfaces.Here is what You’ll Need To Be Successful:Deep Frontend Expertise: Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend technologies.Strong Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze and solve complex technical challenges effectively.Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers.UX and Accessibility Focus: A strong eye for design and commitment to building inclusive experiences.Performance Optimization Skills: Knowledge of optimizing applications for speed and efficiency.Communication Excellence: Ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to various stakeholders.Agile Methodology Proficiency: Experience working in high-growth, iterative development environments.Mission-Driven Passion: Genuine interest in leveraging technology to drive social impact.Team Player Mindset: Collaborative attitude, fostering teamwork and positive relationships across teams.Adaptability and Curiosity: Openness to learning new technologies and adjusting to changing priorities.The Interview Process:Your application will be reviewed for possible next steps by the Hiring Manager.If you meet eligibility requirements, the next step would be a phone call with a member of the PeopleOps team for about thirty (30) minutes.If warranted, the next step would be a video interview with our VP of Engineering for forty-five (45) minutes.If warranted, the next step would be a video panel interview with key stakeholders at PadSplit for one-and-a-half (1.5) hour.The panel interview will require a candidate to work on a technical assessment where you will showcase your engineering skills to the panel for discussion.
