We’re seeking an experienced Staff Database Reliability Engineer to join our SRE team, focusing on ensuring performance, reliability and security of our database & related systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of database systems, site reliability engineering principles, and DevOps practices to meet business objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Develop and implement automation tools and scripts to improve database provisioning, scaling, monitoring, and maintenance workflows.


Collaborate with developers to design and implement database schemas and applications that meet reliability and performance requirements


Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to meet RPO & RTO objectives


Participate in on-call rotations and provide 24/7 support for critical database and related infrastructure issues


Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth and development of the R&D team


Implement and manage high availability solutions for hybrid hosted database environments

Preferred Experience:

Certification in database administration, software engineering, or related field
