Job Overview As a Staff Data Analyst at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in our Information Adventures team, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business success through data analysis and insights. You'll be responsible for performing daily data processing tasks, managing small to medium-scale projects, and delivering high-quality inputs for research analysis. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Product Success, Record Management, and Providers to ensure successful delivery of market research projects, meeting ISO and global data processing standards. Lead execution on daily requests for data analysis and manipulation of primary and secondary data to support Provider and/or Internal requests. Assess demands for data services and understand the requirements of market research projects. Prepare, plan, prioritize, and communicate effectively to ensure deliverables are ready and shipped on schedule. Check data sets for logical consistency, reformatting, and updating data sets for downstream analysis. Maneuver data into the right format for analysis purposes using Excel or SPSS (weighting and processing as needed). Be a proactive team member who provides counsel or suggestions for improvements and automation, where relevant, to enhance overall efficiency and delivery. Perform other ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned. Create and communicate best practices to stakeholders, across departments, to continuously improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of our product offer and processes. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Economics). A proven track record of delivering insightful, data-driven support using quantitative data. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SPSS, or similar software. A positive and proactive attitude, with a can-do, solution-centered mindset. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working in a retail or e-commerce environment. Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL. Experience with data management and data governance principles.
