What You'll Do

As a Staff Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will play a crucial role in our data processing and analytics initiatives. Your responsibilities will span across multiple domains, ensuring that we deliver high-quality statistical research projects while maintaining our commitment to excellence.

Core Responsibilities


Collaborate with Product Success, Record Management, and Providers to ensure successful delivery of market research projects, meeting ISO and international data processing standards
Lead execution on everyday requests for data analysis and manipulation of primary and secondary data to support Provider and/or Internal requests
Evaluate requests for data services and thoroughly understand the requirements of market research projects
Prepare, plan, prioritize, and communicate effectively to ensure deliverables are ready and shipped on schedule
Verify datasets for logical consistency, reformatting, and upgrading datasets for downstream analysis
Manuever data toward the right arrangement for analysis purposes using Excel or SPSS, including weighting and processing as necessary
Be a proactive contributor who provides advice or suggestions for improvements and automation, where necessary, to enhance overall efficiency and delivery
Perform other ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned


Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Sharing


Develop and communicate best practices to partners across departments to continuously improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of our product offerings and processes
Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within existing workflows
Mentor junior team members and share expertise in data analysis methodologies
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics


What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications


Education: Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field
Experience: Demonstrated experience in data analysis, data processing, or statistical research
Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with Excel (including advanced functions, pivot tables, and VBA) and/or SPSS for data manipulation, weighting, and statistical analysis
Analytical Skills: Ability to evaluate data requests and understand requirements for market research projects
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Organization: Strong planning and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously


Preferred Qualifications


Previous experience in retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods analytics
Familiarity with ISO and international data processing standards
Experience working with large-scale datasets and data warehousing
Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
Understanding of market research methodologies and statistical sampling techniques
Experience in a startup or fast-paced corporate environment
