We are working exclusively with an award-winning & fast growing start-up making waves with their innovative, first of it’s kind technology product suite tackling data and analytics like no one has done before. Their technology empowers enterprises and individuals to tackle real world challenges using imagery and analytics - whether assessing construction integrity, optimizing yields or monitoring endangered species.
They are searching for a Backend Developer to join their growing software team. You will be responsible for the design, delivery, and maintenance of scalable backend systems that power a frictionless user experience, ensure secure and efficient API integrations, and maximize reliability, while working closely with frontend engineers, DevOps, and product teams.
Requirements:
• Strong Python development experience, ideally with FastAPI, Pydantic, and SQLAlchemy.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and PostGIS.
• Proven background designing and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Comfortable working autonomously, taking ownership from concept to delivery.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
• Experience with cloud environments AWS/GCP
• Experience working in a SaaS company
Package: up to $200,000 + Benefits (Equity options, 20 days PTO, Remote first, Private medical & dental and much more
Remote first, yearly team meet-ups
Interview process: 2 stages, 5 day turn around.
They are based in Austin with their engineering team based remotely through-out the US. They operate a remote model and hybrid model, whatever you prefer - with countless levels of flexibility, as many being working parents - flexibility through out the day is actively encouraged .
