Staff Attorney

Arrow Electronics is seeking a Staff Attorney to support the deal process and ensure that agreements align with business objectives and legal requirements. The role involves drafting, analyzing, and negotiating contracts while providing legal advice to business teams and managing client expectations. Responsibilities Support the deal process from start to finish, ensuring Arrow’s interests are represented and agreements balance reasonable risk with growth goals, under the guidance of senior legal team members Assist in drafting, analyzing, and negotiating contract and order-level terms that support business objectives, while complying with applicable laws and Arrow policies Collaborate with senior attorneys to draft, review, and negotiate contracts, amendments, and templates—including vendor, professional services, distribution, licensing, SaaS, and other commercial agreements Provide clear, concise, and practical legal and commercial advice to business teams, coordinating with other legal team members and stakeholders (e.g., finance) as required Identify and escalate legal and business issues to senior attorneys as necessary Proactively manage client expectations and deliver timely, accurate work product with support from the legal team Partner with contract managers for day-to-day management of Arrow’s commercial agreements, including legal oversight, issue escalation, and overflow support Participate in training for business and field locations on best practices and contract/legal topics Handle other general legal matters as assigned, with mentorship and supervision Skills 1–4 years of relevant transactional experience in a law firm or corporate law department Foundational knowledge of commercial law; interest or experience in engineering design services and software licensing (including cloud/SaaS) is a plus Demonstrated ability to learn industry, business, and operational matters quickly Ability to manage tight timelines and balance competing priorities Strong communication and interpersonal skills; team player JD from an accredited law school and license to practice law in CO or any US jurisdiction Interest in electronics/technology distribution preferred Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance 401k, With Matching Contributions Short-Term/Long-Term Disability Insurance Health Savings Account (HSA)/Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) Options Paid Time Off (including sick, holiday, vacation, etc.) Tuition Reimbursement Growth Opportunities Discounted RTD Passes, with convenient office location off RTD Light Rail (Dry Creek Exit) On-site Café with Catering Option for Busy Lifestyles 24/7/365 On-site Gym and Lockers, Free for Use to All Employees!Bike Racks And more!
