Sauce Labs is a privately held company funded by TPG and Riverwood Capital. The Role: Sauce Labs is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our global finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions. This role is crucial in supporting the overall accounting functions and assisting with financial analysis. Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain financial records, including journal entries and general ledger reconciliations. Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes. Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable. Prepare and file tax reports, including sales tax and other regulatory filings. Support budgeting and forecasting processes. Assist in financial audits and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. Analyze financial data and generate reports to support decision-making. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting. ​​Review and ensure correct cost coding for employee hires / changes. Review T&E transactions, obtain proper receipt support. Maintain fixed asset schedules, including additions, disposals, and depreciation entries. Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 1-3 years of accounting experience (entry-level candidates with relevant internships will be considered). Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and Microsoft Office and Google Suite. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Working knowledge of GAAP and accrual accounting concepts. Able to work well independently and with others. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
