Staff Accountant (Entry Level)
About the position Responsibilities • Handle entering ad hoc journal entries during month-end close • Reconcile balance sheet and cash accounts • Prepare journal entries to include payroll, amortization, depreciation, allocations, non-trade accruals, line-of-credit, banking, and others as needed • Contribute to department and organization's special projects as assigned • Review and analyze outstanding checklist for outdated and stale checks and follow up with clearing them by contacting the vendor, supplier, and/or individual for accuracy Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics • Strong understanding of the difference between debits vs credits • 1 - 3 years experience of general ledger accounting experience • Advanced bolthires Excel experience and/or knowledge Nice-to-haves • Eager to learn and capable to manage work remotely • Go-getter attitude/demeanor • Strong organizational skills and accuracy Benefits • 401k • medical • dental • holiday pay • flexibility • fantastic work culture • low turnover rate Apply tot his job
