Staff Accountant - Commercial Real Estate

Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant to join our finance team. You must have commercial property accounting experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing CAM reports, and ensuring accuracy in lease abstracts. This position plays a crucial role in the budgeting process for CAM and requires a strong understanding of commercial real estate accounting practices. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports Perform CAM reporting and budgeting Conduct lease abstracting for commercial properties Collaborate with property managers to ensure proper accounting practices are followed Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes Provide support during audits and financial reviews Maintain compliance with financial regulations and standards Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in commercial real estate Proficiency in CAM reporting and budgeting Strong skills in lease abstracting Familiarity with accounting software; Yardi experience is a plus Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Benefits - Vacation/PTO - Medical - Dental - Vision - 401kSo, if you are a Staff Accountant that has a couple of years of Commercial Real Estate experience, please apply today!
