Staff Accountant, Accounts Receivable Operations

They are seeking a Staff Accountant to manage the full accounts receivable cycle, ensuring accurate invoicing, cash application, and collections to maintain the integrity of receivable balances and cash flow visibility.ResponsibilitiesOwn the full accounts receivable cycle — from accurate invoicing to cash application and collectionsEnsure the integrity of receivable balances, COGS recording, and AR operations for both domestic and APAC entitiesKeep Kargo's revenue engine running cleanlyMaintain a clean and current AR ledger, issue invoices accurately and on time, apply cash daily, and ensure the aging report reflects reality with no mystery balances or stale open itemsEstablish a consistent collections cadence and handle escalations proactivelyEnsure month-end close is predictable with AR reconciliations, journal entries, and COGS processing completed on time with minimal rework or surprisesSupport APAC operations without gaps, handling expense processing, payroll coordination, and vendor payment runs accurately and on scheduleResolve billing discrepancies flagged by Sales and Client Success quickly, identifying and addressing root causes upstreamSkills1–3 years of accounting experience in a private or public company, preferably in media, technology, or digital advertisingWorking knowledge of US GAAP, general ledger activity, and AR-specific processes (invoicing, cash application, reconciliations)Hands-on experience with NetSuiteStrong Excel skills for reconciliation, aging analysis, and reportingBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA or active progress toward CPA certificationExperience supporting international or APAC entity accounting operationsCompany OverviewKargo is the leader in mobile brand advertising.
