The Senior Software Engineer will play a key role in designing and developing enterprise web applications. The ideal candidate should thrive on new technical challenges and innovate our products, technology stack & development processes. The ideal candidate should have experience in working in a Lean/Agile team and be focused on delivering value and delighting customers.
Qualified candidates will have a BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent as well as 10+ years of relevant work experience.
Essential Job Functions:
ā¢ Work closely with Software Developers / QA Engineers and the business to build outstanding products;
ā¢ Design and develop scalable, robust, secure, enterprise web applications;
ā¢ Provide technical leadership in getting new ideas into production efficiently;
ā¢ Enhance tools and processes to improve product design/development; and
ā¢ Develop a deep understanding of product functionality and how it relates to business goals and practices.
Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
ā¢ 10+ years industry experience
ā¢ Full stack experience in developing N-tier Java web applications
ā¢ Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE, Junit/TestNG, Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA
ā¢ Strong experience with building and consuming RESTful APIs / services
ā¢ Strong knowledge of SQL / Relational Databases
ā¢ Good knowledge of Front-End technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
ā¢ Should have good knowledge of Java internals, performance tuning, etc.
ā¢ Good verbal and written communication skills
ā¢ Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
ā¢ Experience working in a Lean/Agile environment
ā¢ Experience working with cloud-based technologies
