Key Responsibilities Completing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and reporting with appropriate GAAP treatmentProviding solutions to streamline/speed up month-end closeResearch accounting guidance and analyze how it affects the CompanyCompletion of annual independent financial and statutory auditsProviding timely and accurate analysis of budgets, forecasts and historical financialsProviding reporting and solutions for ad-hoc information requestsEnsuring that effective internal controls are in place to ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, and state regulations for financial and fiscal reportingSupporting the Accounting Manager and working directly with the accounting team to ensure accuracy and consistencyProvide the highest level of internal and external customer service; respond to internal and external inquiries regarding accounting related activities, and utilize judgment to address or escalate issues as necessaryRegularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts Additional Information Master in Accounting requiredCA or CPA equivalent3 - 5 years public accounting in similar role post qualificationOrganized and analytical with relentless attention to detailProficient in Microsoft OfficeSelf-directed, but with a natural ability and desire to work on a teamExcellent professional communication skillsAbility to prioritize and multi-task based on current demandsFluent in English
