Why this role matters: We’re looking for a Senior Video Content Creator to join Vonage and help drive the creation of impactful video content for the official Vonage Developer YouTube channel . In this role, you’ll drive developer engagement by creating videos that showcase Vonage’s cutting-edge cloud communication solutions. Your work will blend technical expertise with strategic storytelling to inspire a global audience, highlight innovative use cases, and establish a thriving, globally recognized YouTube presence for Vonage. As a Senior Video Content Creator, you will create high-quality video content that resonates with developers, highlighting our API offerings, partnerships, and more. Your expertise will help drive brand recognition, facilitate platform adoption, and foster a community that thrives on real-time, customer-centric communications. A key focus will be showcasing the capabilities and applications of Vonage's APIs, demonstrating how they empower developers to build robust and scalable communication solutions. Your key responsibilities: Content Creation: Develop and produce engaging video content for the Vonage Developers YouTube channel, highlighting the use cases and benefits of Vonage's APIs and other related topics. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and partners to ensure consistent messaging and high-quality video content is produced. Community Engagement: Collaborate with the developer community team to amplify events, sponsorships, and partnerships through compelling video storytelling, emphasizing the value of APIs in developer projects. Content Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders from Developer Relations and Product teams to contribute to the overall long-form video content strategy, ensuring alignment and effectiveness in showcasing APIs. Feedback Integration: Continuously integrate developer feedback into video content plans to enhance relevance and engagement around APIs. What you’ll bring: Required: Experience in creating engaging video content for developer audiences Please include an online portfolio when you submit your resume to be considered Understand the basics and beyond of video editing, ideally with Adobe Premiere Pro Knowledge of what it entails to drive the end-to-end process of creating a video from scratch Proficient with at least one modern programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#) Proficient with command line (e.g., Bash Shell, Windows Command Prompt, etc.) Familiarity with RESTful APIs and cloud communications platforms What we consider a plus: Prior Experience as a Developer Advocate is preferred Ability to help build animations that Vonage can reuse in other content. Experience navigating community engagement platforms (e.g., Slack) Where you will work: This position offers a hybrid work arrangement based out of our Holmdel office, with the flexibility to work remotely. We are also open to considering fully remote candidates located within the Eastern Time Zone of the United States. Sponsorship is not available. Legal authorization to work in the USA is required.
