Sr. Software Engineer (REMOTE)
Key Responsibilities & Job Description: • Research, design, and develop computer software and production applications. • Independently develop and consistently redesign/refactor product to adapt to customer and associate needs. • Involved in product and tool selection, configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning and production monitoring. • Mentor less experienced engineers. • Develop test suites to enable success and rapid deployment of code to production. • Collaborate with other team members in agile processes. • Work with the Product Team to ensure user stories are valuable, developer ready, easy to understand and testable. • Deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences. • Help grow junior engineers by providing guidance on modern software development frameworks, and leading technical discussions. • Telecommuting available. Minimum Qualifications: • Must be eighteen years of age or older. • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States. • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field; and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. • Requires 6 months of experience involving each of the following: 1. GCP resources (Google cloud platform); 2. Shell scripting; 3. GIT; 4. Unix/Linux/Windows; 5. CI/CD process; 6. Docker; 7. Kubernetes. Apply tot his job
