T HE POSITION: We are looking for a full-time Senior Software Engineer to develop, implement, document, and maintain all technology solutions for Concierge Auctions . The ideal candidate for this role is comfortable being primarily an individual contributor, while also contributing to the broader strategy and team-building conversations and practices. RESPONSIBILITIES: Research, scope, develop, deploy, and maintain features on any or all of the Concierge Auctions Application stack. Respond to bug tickets, research, and reproduce those bugs, and ultimately plan and execute fixes for them. Engage in exercises to help forecast delivery dates of features and bug fixes. Daily check-ins with the Technology team on progress and updates. Perform code reviews for pull requests to help foster a shared understanding of our platform. Work inside cross-functional teams that might include team members outside of the technical team, such as Marketing and Operations experts. Be open to change. Requirements THE TECHNOLOGY: Concierge Auctions ’ technology stack revolves around Node.js and React.js. We have a full-stack application dedicated to providing a rich user experience for our customers. In addition to the technology powering conciergeauctions.com , we also have several smaller applications that run in concert to fuel our internal database and provide analytics for internal benchmarking, as well as fulfilling our commitment to our Sellers to source the highest quality bidders for their properties. You’ll be an excellent fit for our team if you: Have experience with React.js, Angular.js, or other frontend JavaScript frameworks. Have experience with TypeScript or other strongly typed programming languages. Have experience with Node.js. Have experience deploying web applications. Have experience designing and building an application from scratch (greenfield). Have experience innovating on legacy or pre-existing technology platforms. You'll be an ideal candidate if, in addition, you have one or more of the following: Experience with Next.js. Experience with Queue systems such as BullMQ and underlying layers such as Redis. Experience with Contentful CMS. Experience with Websockets (server and client). Experience with Payment systems. Experience in Real Estate Technology solutions. Experience with Server Side Components in React. Experience with web optimization strategies for speed, SEO, and more. Experience with Sentry setup and utilization. Experience with Test Driven Development using Jest and React Testing Library.
