SharePoint Business Analyst - ECM Designer
Location: Raleigh, NC (Remote with Virtual Workspace)
Contract: 12 Months
Rate: $55-65/hr all-inclusive
ā¢ ** This is a SharePoint Business Analyst/Quality Assurance role. This is not a SharePoint Developer/Admin role.
ā¢ **Work remotely using your own equipment to access a virtual workspace (laptop not provided).
ā¢ **Must currently reside in North Carolina.
Overview
We are seeking a SharePoint Business Analyst - ECM Designer for a 12-month contract in the Engineering Application Services Department. This is a non-development role with no coding required. You will drive business analysis and solution design for Preconstruction processes, owning requirements gathering, solution design, documentation, QA testing, communication, and training.
Key Responsibilities
Design SharePoint and web-based solutions supporting Preconstruction business processes.
Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, prioritizing and delivering independently.
Conduct comprehensive QA testing (system-level, workflow, scenario-based, edge-case validation).
Document deliverables, create technical references, and ensure WCAG-compliant user guides.
Collaborate on process re-engineering, prototype solutions, and deliver end-user training.
Manage communication, dependencies, project status, and provide quality control/mentoring.
Required Skills & Experience (8+ Years)
Business analysis in enterprise environments.
SharePoint design (lists, libraries, content types, site structures, web/workflow solutions).
Autonomous task ownership with strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
Comprehensive QA testing expertise.
Business process evaluation and re-engineering.
Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
User-focused documentation (guides, knowledge articles) per WCAG standards.
Agile methodologies and SDLC knowledge.
SharePoint Designer/Site Owner experience.
Azure DevOps or similar tools.
Preferred Skills
Preconstruction or Transportation Life Cycle processes.
Balsamiq Wireframes, Power BI, Power Applications.
ServiceNow or Microsoft Copilot agents.
