We are Addepar's Release Management team! We are responsible for ensuring smooth application deployments to our clients, scheduling infrastructure and code changes, and maintaining internal relationships with the Engineering, Product, and Sales teams. We play a key role in incident and critical issue response management and support, provide clear communications to executives and key partners, and collaborate with our colleagues to improve our internal processes.
We are currently seeking a Senior Release Manager to join our Core Platform Operations team. In this role, you will work closely with teams across the organization to manage, document, and enhance Addepar’s deployment processes. You will be responsible for supervising and ensuring timely software and infrastructure releases by coordinating release activities across multiple product lines, reporting on Release Candidate health and overseeing Git management with the goal of delivering high quality software to the financial industry. We are looking for team oriented, self motivated individuals who are excited to learn, grow and have a strong desire to understand the end business. Our ideal candidate will have an experienced background in a technical field and have strong communication and coordination experience. They are also methodical and passionate about quality which is key to the growth and success of our products. Experience in the financial market is a plus.
What You’ll Do

Collaborate with Software, Infrastructure, and Release Engineers across different time zones globally to cultivate strong business relationships
Coordinate and manage infrastructure and application releases for multiple projects globally
Track and report on release statistics and areas of improvement
Own cross-organisation communications
Serve as an authority and drive team-level projects via streamlining and automating existing processes
Participate in an on call rotation within the Release Management team

Who You Are

BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
Several years of experience in a mid to large scale corporate environment or comparable experience with SDLC and SOC2 compliant deployments
Experience of application and Infrastructure Release Management experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding organisational and coordination skills
Be a self-starter, resourceful, and capable of multitasking and decision-making
Have the ability to work on an asynchronous team
Have hands-on experience with version control software and branch management, such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, etc.
Experienced with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
Skilled in AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker
Proficient with scripting (Python, bash, etc.)
Adept at tracking and reporting metrics
Looker experience is a bonus
