In this role, you will act as a lead for one of our functionally-focused teams, partnering with stakeholders to test for bugs in our efforts. You will be responsible for developing and executing test strategies, writing test scripts, and performing both manual and automated tests to ensure our products meet the highest standards. As a Sr. QA Engineer, you are supported by a fantastic team and will have the opportunity to help solve some of the most significant challenges that our clients face.You Will...Work closely with our content developers to support ingestion efforts Work with application developers and product teams to set feature roadmap and plan release deadlines.Partnering closely with various stakeholders with projects around contentUnderstand and analyze user stories, requirements, or product specificationsProvide feedback about functional issues as appropriateProvide feedback about Acceptance Criteria and design issues as appropriateCommunicate and triage discovered bugsTest and debug pre-released software for defectsPerform smoke testing, regression testing, verifying claimed bug fixesAssist with manual functional testing for all projectsWrite/Edit test cases and test plansWrite/edit automated scripts for functional testingAssist with load and performance testingSupport customers by triaging user-reported issuesWhat we're looking for...5+ years professional experience in functional manual testingExcellent communication, verbal and written skillsExperience with bug tracking softwareExcellent attention to detail, with an ability to multitask and meet deadlinesCommitment to developing quality software, mentorship, training, and supporting teammates.Ability to work in both a team environment and independentlyA strong understanding of the software test cycle processAbility to work as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environmentMotivated and responsible individual who strives to exceed expectationsSincere interest in working at a startup and scaling with the company as we growSalary range is dependent on geography, past experience, seniority, and demonstrated role related ability during the interview process.What we offerFull time permanent employees are eligible for the following benefits:-Competitive salary-Meaningful equity-Health benefits: medical (various PPO/HMO/HSA plans), dental, vision, disability and life insurance -10 paid sick days per year-Unlimited vacation time policy (subject to internal approval).
