Our capabilities include Program Management, Program Oversight, Process Audit, Intelligence Analysis, Cyber Security, NIST SP 800-171 / CMMC Assessment and Compliance, Computer Forensics, Software Assurance, Software Testing, Test Automation, Section 508 and WCAG Accessibility Assessment, Localization Testing, Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V), Quality Assurance (QA), Compliance, and Research and Development (R&D) services. TestPros is an Equal Opportunity Employer.TestPros delivers innovative independent IT assessment solutions to critical challenges facing the nation and the world.  We support the U.S. Federal Government and Commercial clients within the continental USA. TestPros is dedicated to making lives better, safer and more secure.Job SummaryTestPros is seeking a Senior Privacy & Digital Product Auditor to support an independent third-party assessment of consumer-facing applications in accordance with the South Carolina Age-Appropriate Design Code Act (AADC) and related U.S. privacy requirements.This role will evaluate how digital products collect, process, and use data associated with minors, as well as assess product design, safety features, and algorithmic behaviors to ensure compliance with emerging children’s privacy regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct independent privacy and product compliance assessments of mobile and web-based applicationsEvaluate the purpose of services and likelihood of access by minorsAnalyze and document data collection, processing, storage, and sharing practices (PI/SPI)Perform data flow mapping and assess alignment with data minimization principlesReview and assess design safety features and how they are implemented and usedEvaluate age verification and age estimation mechanismsAssess data subject request (DSR) processes, including access, deletion, and correction workflowsAnalyze algorithmic systems and recommendation engines, including their impact on minorsIdentify potential dark patterns or manipulative UX/UI elementsReview mechanisms for reporting harm to minors and overall platform safety controlsDocument findings, risks, and recommendations in formal audit reports suitable for regulatory and client reviewCollaborate with privacy, legal, and product stakeholders to validate findings and ensure accuracyRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Law, Public Policy, or related discipline)7+ years of experience in privacy, compliance, digital risk, or product audit rolesDemonstrated experience conducting privacy assessments (PIA/DPIA) or similar compliance reviewsStrong knowledge of U.S. privacy frameworks, including:COPPAState privacy laws (e.g., CA, VA, CO, and emerging regulations)Experience assessing consumer-facing applications (web/mobile)Ability to analyze data flows and data governance practicesFamiliarity with data subject rights (DSR) processesExperience developing formal audit or compliance reportsStrong analytical, documentation, and communication skillsDesired QualificationsCertifications such as:CIPP/USCIPMCIPTExperience with:Children’s data privacy and safety requirementsTrust & Safety or digital platform riskAlgorithmic systems or recommendation enginesUX/UI evaluation, including identification of dark patternsExperience supporting regulatory or independent third-party auditsBackground in consulting (e.g., Big 4) or technology platformsKey CompetenciesAbility to interpret emerging and ambiguous regulatory requirementsStrong understanding of digital product ecosystems and user behaviorCapability to translate technical and product findings into clear, defensible audit conclusionsAttention to detail with a structured, audit-driven mindsetWork LocationRemote TestPros, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.EEO StatementAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, age, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability.
