About the roleThe (Sr.) Principal Field Application Engineer works across the EMEA Sales & Marketing department and the Business Group Application and Marketing teams. You will drive all necessary technical support actions to ensure business creation at some major Automotive and Industrial accounts, across the whole Nexperia product portfolio, including Wide-Bandgap as well as Analog and Power products.What you will doAccountable to drive design wins in target accountsDrive customer visits and distribution partner trainings for technical product presentations, demonstrations, and value proposition deploymentLeads proof of concept, solution design and demonstrations to secure the winSynthesizes customer and competitive insights to improve product definition and roadmapsRuns project management of Nexperia design-in campaigns for assigned customers to ensure early involvement in the customer’s technology roadmap and continuous and timely flow of information to all necessary parties within the Business Groups and customersQualifies sales opportunities in terms of customer technical requirements and establishes Nexperia's value proposition / position relative to the competitionQualifies the value of Nexperia's products (strengths versus competitive products) and quantifies the technical benefits derived from choosing NexperiaOwns the block diagram process to ensure broader technical team understands the full system requirementsDelivers ongoing formal and informal knowledge sharing and product positioning that helps assigned accounts understand the operational, financial, and business impact of Nexperia solutions within their practice areasSuccessfully builds relationships with sales team members, business lines, partners and customers in support of sales team objectivesAnalyses customer's technical objectives enabling the sales team to be more predictive, effective and responsive to customer needsAssists in educating regional sales team on new technologies, new product features and their related business valueWhat you will needUniversity degree (preferably Master’s degree) in Electronic Engineering or similarMinimum 5 years’ experience in design engineering and application engineeringPreferably related work experience at a customer within the Automotive and/or Industrial segmentsMust have strong communication and presentation skills to drive communication with relevant stakeholdersExcellent communication skills in German and EnglishTarget driven, shows initiative and have an entrepreneurial attitudeWillingness to travel frequentlyTalent acquisition based on Nexperia vacancies is not appreciated.
