Sr. Node JS Developer

We’re a fast-growing startup building a high-impact platform and we're looking for a skilled Node.js Developer to join our team. This is an equity-based role, ideal for someone who’s passionate about early-stage innovation, thrives in fast-paced environments, and wants real ownership in the product they’re helping to build.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Build and maintain scalable, secure, and performant backend services using Node.js.
• Collaborate with front-end and mobile developers (Flutter) to implement features and APIs.
• Write clean, modular, and testable code.
• Participate in sprint planning, standups, and code reviews.
• Optimize for scalability and performance as the user base grows.
What We’re Looking For:
• Must be based in the United States — no exceptions.
• 5+ years of experience with Node.js and backend architecture.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, authentication (OAuth2/JWT), and database integration (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Experience working in startup or agile environments.
• Strong communication skills and a self-starter mindset.
• Bonus: Experience with Flutter or cross-platform development teams.
