Our Opportunity:
Oversee real estate and development strategy for new markets, which includes site selection, market planning, and relationships with developing franchisees.
Responsibilities:
• Develop a network of commercial real estate brokers and manage site selection for new store developments.
• Evaluates and screens sites proposed by Developers, Real Estate Agents, Landowners and other sources.
• Work in conjunction with the broader Development team to develop market development plans including identification of key markets and trade areas.
• Work with Franchisees to package and present prospective development sites to Real Estate Committee for review and approval of new developments and relocation opportunities.
• Facilitates franchisees with Letters of Intent (LOI) and Lease Agreements for new restaurants, and replacement opportunities in conjunction with the Legal Team
• Presentations to the Head of Development and TH US Leadership Team of sites meeting economic feasibility.
• Ability to build strong working relationships with other critical departments outside development including Franchisees, Design, Construction, Operations, and Finance.
Required Skills:
• University undergraduate degree, or higher
• Minimum 5+ years Commercial Real Estate or Development experience
• Strong analytical background & proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Possess a working understanding of real estate finance
• Understanding of the development process and thorough understanding of lease documentation
• Available to travel, as needed
