Sr. Manager, Fulfillment

Smalls is looking for a Sr Manager of Fulfillment to oversee our day-to-day order fulfillment operations across third-party logistics (3PL) partners. This role is critical in ensuring a seamless delivery experience for our customers while driving continuous improvement in cost, efficiency, and quality. You will serve as the primary point of contact for our 3PLs, own fulfillment KPIs, and lead initiatives to scale our operations as we grow. This role reports directly to the VP, Supply Chain.What You’ll Do:Own day-to-day communication and strategic partnerships with 3PL providers to ensure SLAs, service quality, and cost targets are met.Collaborate with VP, Supply Chain to grow our distribution network to facilitate business growth and reduce transit times.Monitor and optimize order processing, pick/pack/ship activities, and inventory availability across all warehouse locations.Track, report and deep dive on key performance indicators (KPIs) for Fulfillment, including order accuracy (mispicks), on-time shipping, on-time delivery, thaw rates and replacement rates.Track cost per order and collaborate with VP, Supply Chain on cost reduction initiatives.Establish standardized SOPs across 3PL network and own QA efforts, maintenance process and continuous improvements.Be a continuous improvement champion on the Operations team, identifying bottlenecks or broken processes and spearheading improvement projects from planning to execution.Collaborate with Inventory Planning and Procurement teams to maintain healthy stock levels and reduce stockouts across 3PL network.What We’ll Love About You:You have worked 8 years or more in operations, supply chain, logistics or related roles, with a focus on fulfillment, business improvement and vendor management.You have owned and managed 3PL relationships in the past.You are a strong communicator who builds trusting relationships with suppliers and can problem solve issues as they come up, with minimal direction.You have a deep understanding of fulfillment operations, including multi-node distribution networks, WMS & ERP systems and logistics KPIs.You have strong analytical skills with experience using G-suite / Excel tools to analyze operational data.You are highly organized, love to build and streamline processes, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.Huge Plus: You have a degree in Operations management, Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.Huge Plus: You have experience in DTC, CPG or cold chain shipping.What you’ll love about us:Mission-Driven Company: We love cats and we're here to make nine lives ten.People-Driven Company: We treat our people like people; we're committed to Smalls, and we work hard but also respect everyone’s lives outside of work.Data-Driven Culture: We love using data to guide decision-making where appropriate, but we also know when to move quickly and go with our gut.Competitive Salary: Make some $$$.Very Competitive Benefits: Fully paid Health, Vision, and Dental insurance. 4-day work week.
