What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide advanced technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and some network issues
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems related to the employer's Information Systems
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and software
- Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of IT systems administered by the IT Service Desk
- Conduct regular system audits and generate reports on system performance and security
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 7 years in IT support or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Windows and MAC OS support
- Proficiency with Android and iPhone support
- General knowledge of network protocols and services
- Familiarity with IT security best practices
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Strong knowledge of asset management systems such as JAMF and Intune
- Ability to resolve complex incidents and requests in relation to hardware and software in use by the business
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements and upgrades
