LocationOur Senior Full Stack Engineer will be an integral part of our Engineering teams in EMEA. This role is based remotely as a full-time employee in the UK, Ireland, Estonia, the Netherlands, Sweden and Spain. The OpportunityAs a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will be working on improving the DoiT Cloud Intelligence product with a primary focus on CloudFlow — our governance tool that helps customers manage and control their FinOps programs. You'll be implementing new features, contributing to the ongoing development of this strategic and first-of-its-kind platform, and also collaborating on future integrations like Threads (integration with systems such as Jira). You’ll work closely with product managers and developers across teams, participate in product decision-making, and have end-to-end ownership of projects. This is an opportunity to help shape a product that sits at the core of DoiT’s platform and product strategy.ResponsibilitiesImplementing features. From the proposal, through spec and implementation, to maintenance. You're expected to propose things that you think can be a good addition to the productsReviewing code. We believe in code reviews. And you will soon start reviewing pull requests as well!Improving the health of the codebase. We’re mindful of accumulating technical debt. We dedicate one day per week to housekeepingProviding feedback. The team plans and discusses the upcoming work. We provide feedback to each other, trying to find challenges and unknowns as early as possibleQualifications5+ years of software development experienceA Full Stack engineer or a Frontend/Backend engineer with a desire to learn to become a Full Stack engineerA solid understanding of programming languages, ideally knowledge of React framework and/or Go programming language, but if you don’t, you will be willing to learn and fully embrace these languagesAdvantageous to have experience developing solutions in the Cloud, and/or using Cloud services but certainly not a mustEmbraces continuous development and learningKnowledge of software engineering practicesDemonstrated passion for creating high-quality web/SaaS appsExperience with Git/GitHubExcellent communication skills in English, both written and verbalSelf-organized, Goal-oriented, self-motivated individual who is confident, thorough and tenaciousAbility to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environmentA great sense of humor and enjoys having fun at workBonus PointsBA/BS degree or equivalent practical experienceExperience with Google Cloud or AWS services from a production environmentAre you a Do’er?Be your truest self.
