Responsibilities
Ā Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amounts, and examine checks for endorsements.

Ā Cash checks and pay out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.

Ā Enter customers' transactions into the computer to record transactions and issue computer-generated receipts.

Ā Place holds on accounts as appropriate.

Ā Balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift and compare totaled amounts with data displayed on computer screen.

Ā Explain, promote, refer, or sell Bank products or services such as accounts, loans, and cashier's checks in the branch or via telemarketing.

Ā Perform outbound calls and set appointments for Market Leader and/or Sales & Service Officer in accordance with market initiatives and/or branch goals.

Ā Cross-train on the products and operational processes associated with the Platform and assist clients with related activities.
,
Ā Open and process all types of accounts, products, and/or services for customers after consulting with them on their specific needs.

Ā Achieve individual referral goals for cross-selling of all credit, non-credit, and fee income goals.

Ā Maintain knowledge of current products, policies, procedures, and regulations as it relates to position.

Ā Adhere to all current policies, procedures, and regulations as it relates to position.

Ā Process transactions from automated teller machine and night depository.

Ā Respond professionally to customer inquiries or problems.

Ā Assist customers with safe deposit box transactions.

Ā Fill in for Financial Specialist Leader when absent.

Ā Order daily supply of cash and count incoming cash.

Ā Under dual control, balance cash in automated teller machines and night depository.

Ā Adhere to and comply with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering.

Ā Identify and report suspicious activity.
Requirements
Ā High School Diploma or GED required.

Ā Minimum of 2-3 years of cash handling experience (preferably Teller) required.

Ā Excellent customer service, sales, risk management, and cash operations experience preferred.

Ā Must be fully trained in both Teller and Platform functions.
