About the Job • Title: Sr. Fast Track Auto Claims Representative - REMOTE • Term: Contract Long-term • Location: We prefer someone to be on-site in our Irving, TX, or Farmington Hills, MI office 2 days a week, but open to remote • Hours: Mon-Fri -8:00-5:00 • Pay Rate: $34.14 hourly (depending on experience) • Referral Bonus: $500 Our client is currently recruiting for a Senior Fast Track Auto Claims Representative. This position will handle commercial auto with a predominant focus on resolving the material damage components of the claim. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills. Summary Statement: Provides quality investigation and analysis to adjust claims at all levels to proper resolution. Promotes the success of the organization through the development and advancement of relationships with agencies, policyholders, and employees. Essential Tasks/Major Duties: • Collaborate proactively with agents, policyholders, and internal stakeholders on claims and book of business as needed. • Investigate losses, identify coverage, evaluate liability, and damages. • Develop plan of action to proactively conclude claims, timely evaluate damages, engage other parties in negotiations, and settle claims pursuant to guidelines and delegated authority. • Leverage past experience to review and analyze documents. • Establish and maintain proper reserves for each claim to accurately reflect the financial exposure. • Determine need for, identify, and engage external resources as needed to execute proper resolutions while monitoring and controlling costs. • Review and interpret commercial insurance policies and accordingly communicate coverage issues verbally and in writing. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. • 1 year commercial claims adjusting experience. • AIC or SLA certification preferred. • Ability to obtain appropriate state licensing as required. • Proficient computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite. • Demonstrated successful ability to build positive relationships and partnerships within department, across the organization and with external customers. • Ability to think strategically with supporting analytical skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers. • Ability to travel overnight up to 10% • Ability to travel daily between locations. Additional Details: • This will support our Fast Track Auto team, who can be available and not need PTO for the rest of the year. We need this contractor to cover for people who will be out for the holiday. • This role will handle Commercial Auto PD claims. • They will need a TX or FL jurisdictional experience. Multiple jurisdictions would be preferred. • This position requires a strong sense of urgency. • The pending on the desk will be around 50-100. • Fast-paced role that requires strong multitasking skills. • This role will last at least 60 days but could go longer. • We would be looking for someone to use their own equipment for this contract opening.
