About the MissionTuring is the world’s leading AI enablement company. We are currently navigating the criticaltransition between early-stage scrappiness and enterprise maturity—a phase where we movefrom "14 disconnected tools and spreadsheets" to a "Unified Operating System."We are looking for a Sr. Director of Product & Data Operations to serve as the architect ofthis transformation. You will not just be managing a team; you will be the "Full-Stack Operator"responsible for stitching together our Product, Data, and Operations into a single, scalableengine. You will own the internal "Build" roadmap, govern our data integrity, and drive thesystem consolidation required to power our AI-native future.
The RoleYou will serve as the strategic architect and leader of our internal technology ecosystem. In thisrole, you will assume ownership of the internal Product and Engineering functions, unifying themunder a single, cohesive roadmap. Your mandate is to dismantle data silos, establish afoundational "Single Source of Truth" (SSOT) across our talent and delivery engines, anddecisively consolidate our technology stack. You will bridge the critical gap between operationalworkflows and product engineering, ensuring that our systems structure serves as a catalyst forscalable, high-velocity growth.
Key Responsibilities1. Drive a Unified Product Strategy● Roadmap Ownership: Consolidate internal Product Managers and Engineering teamsfor "Build" tools under a single, cohesive strategy.● Gatekeeping: Hold the line on requirements versus feature creep. Manage high-stakesstakeholder requests (from Sales, Delivery, Fulfillment and Execs) by prioritizingbusiness impact over low value deviations.● Build vs. Buy: Define the clear boundary between "Buy" systems and our "Build"roadmap, ensuring seamless data flow between them.
2. System Consolidation & Architecture● Product Unity: Audit our current stack of 12+ disconnected tools. Lead the strategy toaudit, migrate, and sunset redundant systems to drive adoption of a unified OperatingSystem.● Spreadsheet Exodus: actively migrate critical business logic from manual GoogleSheets into scalable, product-driven solutions without halting business operations.● Process Automation: Identify manual operational bottlenecks and deploy productfeatures or AI automations to solve them permanently.
3. Data Integrity & Governance● Single Source of Truth: Fix fragmented data definitions across the organization.● Data Dictionary: Create and enforce a taxonomy that aligns all tools. Own thegovernance of our data lake to ensure we are AI-ready.● Feedback Loops: Ensure that performance and quality data flows seamlessly back intoour Talent engine to improve matching and vetting quality automatically.4. Technical Program Management● Cross-Functional Orchestration: Ensure that changes in one part of the business(e.g., a new vetting process) are correctly mapped to tools, workflows, and dataschemas downstream.● Executive Alignment: Serve as the translator between Business goals and Engineeringexecution. Provide clear visibility into the "State of the Systems" to executive leadership.
Who You Are
● The Full-Stack Operator: You have 10+ years of experience spanning ProductManagement, Technical Program Management, and Operations. You can write astrategy deck, define API requirements, and train an ops team on a new workflow.● The Systems Thinker: You see the big picture. You understand how a dropdown menuin an ATS impacts the revenue recognition in an ERP to avoid data silos.● The Diplomat-Operator: You are comfortable managing senior stakeholders(VPs/Execs). You know how to say "No" to good ideas to make room for great ideas todrive alignment.● Data Architect Mindset: You have experience establishing Master Data Managementor "Golden Record" standards in a complex, messy environment. You understand that AIis only as good as the data it feeds on and where AI/ML capabilities can help scale.● Change Agent: You have a track record of moving teams off legacy processes (likespreadsheets) and driving adoption of new tools in high-pressure environments.
