Sr. Data Analyst (Night Shift)

Data is critical to decision making at Field Nation and in this role, you will ensure that information delivery and design are both impactful and high quality. You will design reports and dashboards that help teams across the company quickly understand key metrics and answer pressing business questions. This role demands a diligent focus on our customers — how they use our services, how we measure their experiences and how we identify opportunities for improvement. You will help shape how data is used at Field Nation by turning complex analysis into accessible insights that drive action. Reporting & Dashboard Development (50%): Design, develop, and maintain a comprehensive suite of reports, dashboards, and interactive visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar.Translate complex business questions and requirements into clear, concise, and impactful visual representations.Establish and enforce reporting best practices, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.Collaborate with stakeholders across departments (e.g., Project Management and Finance) to understand their data needs and deliver tailored solutions.Proactively identify opportunities to enhance existing reports and dashboards for improved usability and insights.Develop and implement data governance standards for reporting, ensuring data quality and integrity. Data Engineering & Multi-Source Integration (30%): Design, build, and maintain efficient and scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL/ELT) data from various disparate sources (e.g., relational databases, APIs, cloud platforms, flat files, CRMs, ERPs).Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and other data manipulation techniques to prepare data for analysis and reporting.Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of integrated data.Work closely with data engineers and IT teams to optimize data warehousing solutions and ensure data accessibility.Document data models, data flows, and ETL processes for maintainability and knowledge transfer. Data Analysis & Insights (20%): Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, providing actionable insights and recommendations to business leaders.Utilize statistical methods and analytical techniques to support decision-making and measure the effectiveness of initiatives.Present complex analytical findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field. Master's degree preferred.5+ years of progressive experience in a data analyst role, with a significant focus on reporting, visualization, and data engineering.Expert-level proficiency in SQL for complex data manipulation, querying, and optimization.Demonstrated expertise with at least one major BI tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) for creating compelling dashboards and interactive reports.Proven experience with data integration and ETL/ELT processes from multiple, diverse data sources (e.g., Salesforce, Google Analytics, ERP systems, Marketing Automation platforms, transactional databases).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
