Job Details:Summary:Tyson Foods is embarking on a large modernization effort to its manufacturing footprint, incorporating modern elements of Industry 4.0 and leveraging proven and integrated Technologies and Processes that enables our strategic commitment to “Sustainably Feed the World with the Fastest Growing Protein Brands”.As a Senior Continuous Improvement Deployment Manager, your role will be to identify, design, and implement digital improvements to our manufacturing plants that will allow for enhanced total performance around Safety, Quality, People Engagement, Delivery, and Productivity. You will work alongside our Businesses and Technology partners in the identification, design, and implementation of solutions across the Enterprise.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:The Senior Manager will be responsible for creating and delivering digital manufacturing projects that support significant performance improvement at our plants across our Tyson’s Business Units – Poultry, Prepared Foods and Fresh Meats. S/He will work in collaboration of plant operations, Tyson’s Technology team and other Enterprise functions to build, synthesize and deploy approaches to specific digital use cases across the production plants. Specifically, this leader will:Jointly with our production/operations team unlock the full potential of process improvements by consequently combining digital-driven process, data and analytics to the improvement of specific operational KPIsCoordinate Digital Manufacturing projects and deliver in time, budget and quality through a project excellence approachOnboard, coach and guide plant TMs across their digitization initiatives – from the shopfloor team up to the plant leadershipCreate and maintain Tyson’s playbook to implementation of Digital Manufacturing projectsCreate and sustain deep and trustworthy relationships with your business partners as you also easily maneuver in a shopfloor environment as well as a boardroom settingActively steer digital solution development through requirements gathering, acting as a conduit between Business Development methodologies; other Enterprise Programs and our plant operations based on your deep and broad Operations Management expertiseRequirements:Required a 4-year degree in Engineer / Technology or equivalent7+ Years of experience as a Leader in Digital Solutions applications for ManufacturingExperience with Continuous Improvement initiatives, in particular, Step Change Transformations, preferredDemonstrated experience in integrating and implementing Process and Technology solutions in Manufacturing environmentsHaving operational/managerial experience in the Food Processing industry is preferredRecognized for one's ability to ‘influence to impact’ and communicate in a multilevel, multicultural environmentData-Driven and Result oriented; strong problem solving and analytical skills.Deep knowledge of systems and technology-driven processes within area of responsibilityStrong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skillsHighly self-motivated and directed.50 - 80% Travel Expected.Specific Skills:Strong business acumen, lean and continuous improvement skills, process management background, strong computer skills in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms; SAP, Power BI, Redzone, and other Smart Factory applications.Experience with Learning Management SystemsExperience developing and delivering Lean Manufacturing ContentExperience facilitating groups in Problem Solving and Kaizen activities.Thorough understanding of Problem-Solving MethodologiesPreferred Experience of the Ideal Candidate:Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and deploy Power BI applications, transforming complex data into actionable business insights.Cross-Functional Communication: Skilled at engaging and collaborating with stakeholders across multiple business units to align project goals and ensure strategic impact.Team Leadership: Proven track record of uniting diverse teams to drive shared outcomes, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.Project Management: Capable of leading and delivering large-scale projects on time and within scope, managing competing priorities with strong organizational skills.Agility & Responsiveness: Quick to identify and respond to emerging concerns, implementing solutions that address challenges efficiently and effectively.This is a remote position.Relocation Assistance Eligible:NoWork Shift: 1ST SHIFT (United States of America)Pay Range/Rate:$106,000.00 - $224,000.00Incentives:Annual Incentive Plan:YesLong-Term Incentive Plan:NoAny listed amounts represent the base pay range.
