Sr. Business Intelligence Manager (Remote)
About the Role:As a CBRE Business Intelligence Sr. Manager, you will manage a large team responsible for data integration, operational reporting, ad-hoc analysis, dashboards, and data mining exercises. This job is part of the Data Science & Analytics job function. They are responsible for reviewing data that supports improving effectiveness and predicting outcomes to develop business intelligence. What You’ll Do: Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees. Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed. Work with Sr. business partners to create policies and execute large corporate initiatives. Design business metrics for accountability. This includes client rankings, aggregate portfolio additions, run-off, etc. Oversee large and high-profile projects and coordinate the involvement of personnel from other departments and information technology groups. Direct the end-to-end model development process from complex problem identification through data gathering, evaluation, gaining consensus, and implementation into business practice. Track performance measurement, reporting, and campaign optimization. This includes performance vs. KPI, ROI, and consumer trends. Prepare and present results of data review and reports along with their relative impact to the business to executive management. Apply a broad knowledge of the business, own discipline, and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different point of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans. Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity.Understand and recognize the broader impact across the department. Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within job discipline.
