What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement organizational security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with Federal and DoD requirements
- Perform complex risk analyses and assessments to establish Information Assurance (IA) and security requirements
- Advise information system owners on security policies and requirements
- Keep abreast of emerging security technologies and recommend enhancements to security posture
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure governance alignment with existing and prospective Federal and DoD customers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in security governance
- Strong understanding of Federal requirements including FISMA, NIST frameworks, and applicable Executive Orders
- Experience with Federal and DoD GRC tools (e.g., CFACTS, CSAM, eMASS)
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or other risk certifications
- Experience supporting security governance for organizations using FedRAMP'd CSOs
- RMF and A&A experience
- Ability to communicate Federal language in understandable business terms
- Strong customer service abilities
