Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Sr. AI Engineer to lead the design and implementation of AI-based solutions across our organization. As a technical expert, you'll have a high level of technical expertise, excellent planning, coordination, and communication skills. You'll be responsible for building and deploying AI models, setting up on-prem and cloud infrastructure, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business results. Key Responsibilities AI Solution Development: Design and implement AI-based solutions to drive business value, including building AI models, converting models to APIs, and deploying them across the organization. Cloud Infrastructure Setup: Assist with setting up on-prem and cloud infrastructure required for implementing AI solutions, including Azure cloud services and frameworks. Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with Data Science, development teams, and stakeholders to provide output from AI products, achieve business results, and review business requirements. AI Standards & Best Practices: Recommend best practices and standards for AI products, services, and applications, ensuring architectural oversight and technical excellence. Project Life-Cycle Management: Work through the full life-cycle of a software development project, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance. Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain high-quality documentation to plan, create, track, and sustain AI engineering work, ensuring knowledge sharing across teams. Essential Qualifications Software Development Experience: At least 7 years of overall software development experience writing software products and/or services. AI & Machine Learning: Proven experience building enterprise-level AI products and services, designing, implementing, and using machine learning and model building. Azure Cloud Services: Proven experience with Azure cloud services and frameworks to support AI products and services. Programming Skills: Excellent programming skills in C#/ .NET and other related Microsoft technologies. Database Management: Strong experience with SQL/ NoSQL databases. Object-Oriented Programming: Strong object-oriented programming and design skills. Problem-Solving & Communication: Demonstrated problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work across multiple teams. Preferred Qualifications NLP & Image Processing: Experience with NLP and image processing. Azure AI Services: Experience with Azure Speech, Azure AI Vision/ Custom Vision, Azure Document Intelligence, Azure Conversational AI services. UiPath: Experience with UiPath. Healthcare Industry: Experience with the healthcare industry and workers' compensation.
