The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and fundamentals associated with different functional areas of accounting. The role requires an enthusiastic, detail-oriented team player that has a strong sense of ownership over responsibilities and is comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. What you'll get to do: • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data • Participate in financial audits. Complete requested materials and assist in preparing assigned schedules and gathering requested support for the audits • Thoroughly document policies, procedures and workflow for assigned areas of responsibility • Participate in month-end and year-end close processes including preparation of journal entries for various financial transactions • Efficiently create accounting documents, reports and reconciliations using spreadsheet, database and accounting software in a timely fashion • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards • Collaborate with other departments to address financial inquiries and provide support as needed • Identify, suggest, and contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the accounting function • Strong time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Strong organizational skills, professional curiosity, and work ethic • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks effectively within established timeframes in a fast-paced environment; deadline driven • Ability to thoroughly document processes and procedures • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to convey accounting concepts to non-accounting business partners • Ability to make suggestions and implement revisions to current processes • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Qualifications Who you are: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent years of experience preferred. • 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles • Strong Excel skills and Microsoft Office products • Experience in Fixed Asset and Lease accounting is not required, but preferred • Microsoft D365 experience is not required, but preferred • Prior experience working in retail industry not required, but preferred Additional Information Our investment in you: At Vuori, we’re proud to offer the following to our employees: • Health Insurance • Savings and Retirement Plan • Employee Assistance Program • Generous Vuori Discount & Industry Perks • Paid Time Off • Wellness & Fitness benefits The salary range for this role is $86,000 per year - $95,000 per year.
