Sr Account Manager-Business Channel Management

You'll be working side-by-side with our agent and third party retail partners to grow our customer base in the small to medium business marketplace. You'll develop and create sales and marketing strategies along with targeted incentive programs to drive sales and profitability through this channel. Ongoing, you'll assess performance of each agent and retailer and develop a tailored plan to improve productivity to help them meet their targets. A combination of incentives, promotions, and marketing programs along with training and education will be your tools. When our partners are successful, so are we. β€’ Growing the wireless business through our partner agents and retailers. β€’ Enhancing agent capabilities and performance through product knowledge and skills, and tailored sales strategies to drive achievement of agent sales targets. β€’ Evaluating agent and overall channel sales performance for continuous improvement. β€’ Developing, implementing and monitoring regional sales and incentive programs. β€’ Communicating sales program results and effectiveness. β€’ Motivating our indirect agents to exceed sales β€’ Providing feedback on sales techniques and customer interactions. What we're looking for... You'd like to manage your accounts like you'd run your own business. You know that your success depends on the team's success. People trust you and come to you for advice. You are confident in your ideas but always open to input from others-because you know the best ideas come from different perspectives. You find sharing your expertise and developing others rewarding. You'll need to have: β€’ A Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience. β€’ Three or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience. β€’ Willingness to travel in an assigned territory. β€’ Eligibility to pass motor vehicle records check. Even better if you have one or more of the following: β€’ B2B sales, marketing, training or customer service experience. Ideally, with third party sellers or retailers. β€’ Managed competing priorities with tight deadlines in a dynamic environment. β€’ Account management experience. β€’ Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. β€’ Experience in the wireless industry. Where you'll be working In this mobile role, you'll primarily work from customer or field location(s), with occasional visits to a Verizon location for in-person training and meetings. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is a commission based position with the potential to earn more.
