Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SQL Developer with strong expertise in MSBI (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) and Power BI for a 100% remote W2 opportunity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining robust data solutions that support business intelligence, reporting, and analytics needs.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Develop advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and other database objects.
ā¢ Design, develop, and deploy ETL processes using SSIS.
ā¢ Create and manage SSRS reports and scheduled report distributions.
ā¢ Build and publish interactive Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
ā¢ Collaborate with business users and analysts to gather and analyze data/reporting needs.
ā¢ Work with SSAS (tabular/multidimensional models) to support OLAP analysis.
ā¢ Ensure data integrity, performance, and security across BI platforms.
ā¢ Perform regular code reviews, unit testing, and documentation of all work.
Required Skills:
ā¢ 5+ years of experience as a SQL Developer.
ā¢ Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS).
ā¢ Proven experience in building Power BI reports and dashboards.
ā¢ Solid knowledge of T-SQL, query optimization, and relational database design.
ā¢ Experience in data warehousing and ETL design.
ā¢ Familiarity with dimensional data modeling and data visualization best practices.
ā¢ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
ā¢ Experience with Azure SQL, Power Platform, or Azure Data Factory is a plus.
ā¢ Microsoft certifications related to SQL Server or Power BI.
ā¢ Prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Education:
ā¢ Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
