Duties
The Speech-Language Pathologist will be responsible for caseload management tasks including facilitating group and individual therapy, completing assessments and participating in the IEP process to identify eligible children and develop effective therapy plans, supporting instruction within the classroom, and assisting in the enhancement of school climate. Additional duties may be assigned in accordance with provisions of the Joint Agreements policies and requirements.
Qualifications
Licensed as per Illinois State Board of Education requirements PEL endorsed as Speech-Language Pathologist
Maintain a license by Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation
Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and time management skills
Possess a valid drivers license and maintains automotive insurance coverage as required by IL law
Salary/Benefits
Full-time Permanent, 180-day position, or part-time available
August 2025 start date
Regionally competitive salary (range of $50,000 to $85,000, depending on experience) and benefits (board paid TRS and contribution toward single insurance, professional development, sick and personal days, mileage reimbursement, mentoring and supports).
