About the position

Responsibilities
• Promote and sell products to architects, designers, contractors, and other industry professionals.
• Serve as product manager for the entire product line to the A&D community.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the design and architecture communities to generate product specifications and drive sales growth.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and specifiers to identify project requirements and provide tailored solutions using the full product line.
• Create and deliver compelling presentations and technical demonstrations to educate customers about the features, benefits, and applications of products.
• Prepare and submit accurate and detailed product specifications for inclusion in project plans and specifications.
• Conduct regular site visits, attend industry trade shows, and participate in networking events to build brand awareness and expand the customer base.
• Conduct market research, staying up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments related to non-structural architectural lumber.
• Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to identify opportunities for product improvement or expansion, providing insights and recommendations to management.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or experience in architecture, interior design, construction management, or related fields.
• Proven experience in sales, ideally in an outside sales representative or territory management role, or specification development within related fields.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver compelling presentations and technical demonstrations.
• Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
• Willingness to travel regularly for customer visits, trade shows, and industry events.
