Primary Responsibilities: • * Develop and execute effective sales strategies to generate new business • * Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with brokers and consultants to ensure long-term partnerships • * Conduct presentations on administrative and product capabilities to prospective clients • * Negotiate with underwriting and consultants to find creative solutions to close deals to achieve or exceed sales targets • * Collaborate with internal sales partners teams to complement UnitedHealthcare's values and to maximize cross-sell opportunities • * Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics • * Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to identify new business opportunities You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: • Sales insurance license(s) must be maintained as required by state law in residential and non-residential states in your territory or willing to obtain upon hire • Experience in sales, preferably in a B2B environment • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite • Proven solid communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team • Proven to be results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets • Willingness to travel as needed • Driver’s License and access to a reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications: • Proven solid command of Specialty/Ancillary product knowledge • All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $60,000 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. This role is also eligible to receive bonuses based on sales performance.
