Job Summary As a Specialized Travel Counselor, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional travel service experiences for our corporate business customers. You'll work as a trusted advisor and consultant, providing creative and timely travel solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients. Your goal will be to provide first-call resolution, exceptional traveler care, and the highest quality of customer service. You'll be part of a highly skilled team of corporate travel consultants who work virtually from home and report to an operations supervisor with support from an operations manager. Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management: Act as a trusted advisor and consultant to single or multiple corporate accounts, providing personalized service and support to meet client needs. Travel Arrangements: Arrange routine and complex travel for air, rail, car, and hotel accommodations, utilizing Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Sabre. Consultative Advice: Provide consultative advice, solutions, and recommendations to clients, while ensuring adherence to their agreed travel policy and requirements. Sales and Upselling: Proactively sell additional services, such as hotel and car rentals, to travelers while ensuring compliance with client policies and quality assurance standards. Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Comply with all legal standard requirements, including mandatory training, compliance, and sanctions. Performance Management: Deliver expectations on individual and shared team goals, and support all business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Proactively review your performance to identify areas for improvement. Internal Compliance: Follow internal compliance and regulatory requirements for all customers and locations supported. End-to-End Booking Management: Manage the end-to-end booking process, ensuring seamless and efficient travel arrangements for clients. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Experience: 2+ years of experience in a travel-related industry, preferably in a corporate travel setting. Travel Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the travel industry, including GDS systems, travel policies, and regulations. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and provide timely solutions. Technical Skills: Proficiency in GDS systems, such as Sabre, and Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Qualifications: Industry Certifications: Industry certifications, such as ARC or IATA, are an asset. Language Skills: Fluency in multiple languages is an advantage. Travel Experience: Personal travel experience, particularly in international travel, is beneficial.
