Specialist, Physical Security

Position Summary... What you'll do... Walmart is a company of great culture and growth opportunities. We're looking to hire Corporate Specialist, Physical Security Officers. This position will require that you are available to work various shifts. Key Points: Essential Functions: Perform required tasks with or without accommodation. Safety and Security Support: Provide input on protocols, SOPs, and training. Ensure compliance with security policies and company guidelines. Initiate emergency protocols and provide tactical responses. Emergency Response: Respond to incidents like domestic violence, active shooter, fire, and severe weather. Provide first aid, CPR, and investigate security breaches. Security Systems and Compliance: Monitor alarms and intrusion systems. Ensure compliance with regulations (e.g., PCI, OSHA) and report violations. Work Assignments and Collaboration: Prioritize tasks, collaborate with teams, and adapt to feedback. Ethics and Integrity: Follow company policies, ethics, and use the Open Door Policy. Relationship Building: Build relationships with internal and external partners to ensure safety. Provide emergency response and customer service Key Skills: Physical Security Operations Emergency & Incident Response Crisis & Threat Management Minimum Qualifications: Successfully complete and pass all core components of the Physical Security Specialist Training Academy within 90 days of hire, maintaining certification throughout employment. 1 year of experience in security, law enforcement, military, emergency services, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, Sociology, Emergency Management, or a related field. CPR certification. Proficiency in computers and the ability to quickly learn new technologies. Physical Activities: Lift, carry, and move objects up to 100 pounds without assistance. Perform bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, pulling, and kneeling. Inspect and locate merchandise or equipment visually, often in small print. Manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Create reports and documents using a writing instrument or computer. Communicate effectively in person or via telecommunications. Observe behavior and interact with associates, customers, or suppliers. Bicycle and/or vehicle patrol. Travel: Travel domestically between multiple locations, including overnight stays as needed. Work Environment: Work varying shifts, including overnight, and in areas with fluctuating temperatures, extreme weather, and wet or slippery surfaces. The hourly wage range for this position is $27.00-$52.00* • The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Minimum Qualifications...
