The Alliance works closely with public and private partners to address Texas’ most pressing youth issues, strengthening local Clubs through advocacy, funding, and shared strategy. The OpportunityCommunications and Administrative Specialist, Texas AllianceThis role sits at the center of how the Texas Alliance operates and shows up. You will bring together communications, coordination, and operational support to help the Alliance run effectively while amplifying the impact of Clubs across Texas. This is a remote role open to candidates based in the Southwest Region, including Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas, offering the flexibility to contribute from where you are while staying closely connected to the work across the region. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and energized by both storytelling and execution. You will play a key role in ensuring that the work of the Alliance is well-coordinated, clearly communicated, and positioned for impact.

Responsibilities:
What You’ll DoCommunications & StorytellingDraft and edit newsletters, press releases, blog posts, and stakeholder communicationsGather and elevate stories that highlight youth, programs, and impactManage and grow social media presence, including content calendars and short-form contentCreate visual assets such as flyers, graphics, and event materials using Canva, Adobe, or similar toolsTrack analytics and optimize communication strategiesEnsure brand consistency across all materialsMaintain and update website contentAdministrative & Operational SupportCoordinate board and committee meetings, including agendas, materials, and minutesMaintain board records, rosters, and compliance documentationManage filing systems, shared documents, and organizational recordsSupport staff meetings, training tracking, and internal coordinationManage calendar logistics, travel coordination, and scheduling for leadershipPrepare and submit expense reports, ensuring accuracy and timely processingTrack and order office supplies and resourcesGrants, Reporting & CoordinationProduce monthly reports and dashboards related to grant activityCommunicate regularly with local Clubs regarding financial requirements and complianceCoordinate monthly payouts in partnership with BGCA fiscal servicesSupport donor and grantor communications and stewardshipEvents & Stakeholder EngagementSupport planning and execution of Alliance events including board meetings, CEO convenings, legislative events, and Youth of the YearProvide onsite event support including logistics, setup, and content captureServe as a liaison across Alliance staff, BGCA, vendors, and local Clubs

CompensationThe salary range for this role is $60,000 to $65,394. BGCA takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training and experience, as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level.
