Specialist Chemotherapy Nurse
Role InformationOur team within the South East are seeking a registered 'Chemotherapy Nurse' to deliver high-quality oncology care,
support patients through their treatment journey, and contribute to the ongoing
development of our field-based clinical workforce. You will need to be based in the Brighton or Crawley area (or the corridor between the two). You will travel throughout the wider Sussex area to deliver treatment in patients homes.This role is a unique blend of hands-on patient care and clinical
development. Youâll work directly with patients receiving chemotherapy while
also supporting and developing other cliniciansâhelping to raise standards,
build confidence, and embed best practice across services.Itâs an ideal opportunity for nurses who enjoy variety, autonomy,
and the chance to influence both patient outcomes and clinical capability.Working autonomously you will administer a range of haematological and solid
tumour chemotherapy treatments, as defined in the patient's care plan whilst
sustaining professional standards. Seeing between 1 - 8 patients per day, you will record
all clinical data and document any adverse drug events via the correct
protocol. Long lasting relationships will be built with patients, carers
