Are you a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students from kindergarten to 12th grade? We are currently seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to join our team in Plaistow, NH. This position offers the chance to work with diverse learners in a supportive and collaborative educational environment.

Location: Plaistow, NH

Responsibilities:
Ā• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in grades K-12.
Ā• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student.
Ā• Adapt instructional materials and strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
Ā• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success and progress towards academic goals.
Ā• Monitor student progress through ongoing assessments and data collection, adjusting instruction as needed.
Ā• Provide direct instruction in academic subjects, life skills, and social-emotional development as outlined in students' IEPs.
Ā• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress, attendance, and behavior.

Qualifications:
Ā• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
Ā• Valid New Hampshire state teaching certification in Special Education.
Ā• Previous experience working with students with disabilities, preferably in a K-12 educational setting.
Ā• Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
Ā• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ā• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday (hours may vary)

Employment Type: W2 Contract
