About the position We're Hiring: SOX Compliance Analyst (Contract-to-Hire) - Hybrid (Memphis, TN)Our Corporate Client is currently seeking a SOX Compliance Analyst for a Contract-to-Hire opportunity in the Memphis, TN area. Responsibilities • Maintain documentation of internal controls for financial accounting and reporting processes.• Assist with preparation of quarterly/annual SOX risk assessments, certifications, and documentation. • Coordinate with Business Owners and Control Owners to ensure internal controls over financial reporting are effectively designed and sufficiently documented. • Assist with business process walkthroughs and document business process narratives and/or flow. • Manage control change requests, ensuring proper approvals, assignments, and timely updates. • Proactively identify emerging business and technical risks, issues, and developments for timely action and incorporation into the SOX compliance program documentation.• Assist in training Business Owners and Control Owners regarding internal controls and SOX compliance. • Participate in special projects and other duties as needed.
