**Job Description:**
At Southwest Airlines, our Flight Attendants are the face of our airline and ambassadors of our Heart Culture. They ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of our passengers while representing one of the most awarded airlines in the sky.
**Responsibilities:**
– Conduct pre-flight cabin checks, safety demonstrations, and ensure compliance with all aviation rules and regulations.
– Provide outstanding customer service, including assisting passengers with special needs.
– Manage in-flight sales and service of food, beverages, and other products.
– Handle emergency situations effectively, including medical emergencies.
– Maintain a high degree of professionalism and a positive demeanor throughout flights.
**Requirements:**
– Minimum age of 21 years.
– High school diploma or GED equivalent.
– Ability to reach overhead bins and stand for extended periods.
– Pass a rigorous training program at our world-class facility.
– Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
– Able to work weekends, nights, holidays, and extended hours.
– No visible tattoos while in uniform (face, neck, hands, or legs).
– Ability to adapt to changes in schedule or work environment.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
– Previous customer service or hospitality experience.
– Fluency in multiple languages is highly regarded.
