The Sourcing Lead will be responsible for managing a team of 3-4 Sourcing Coordinators, ensuring best-in-class service for our global Partners and Customers. The Sourcing Lead will work across various departments to establish sourcing solutions for Xometry's most complex orders, drive team performance, and optimize sourcing processes. The idealcandidate will have a proven track record of leadership, problem-solving, and a relentless focus on finding unique solutions for challenging orders.Responsibilities:Lead and manage a team of 3-4 Sourcing Coordinators, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.Oversee the day-to-day operations of the sourcing team, ensuring efficient and effective order processing.Monitor team performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement strategies to improve productivity and quality.Ensure the team is able to triage orders by uncovering potential manufacturing and quoting issues (Tolerances, design limitations, material availability, etc.).Drive the team to identify alternative sourcing strategies.Cultivate network relationships and proactively communicate capacity gaps/constraints across the network.Work cross-functionally to devise recovery strategies for assigned orders.Be accountable for team sourcing KPIs (margin and time to resolution).Identify and implement solutions for the most challenging and complex orders.Collaborate with multiple internal teams, including sales, manufacturing, and customer service.Actively engage with Xometry's partner network to optimize sourcing solutions.Collaborate with customers to develop recovery plans for orders when necessary.Develop and implement process improvements to enhance sourcing efficiency and effectiveness.Train and onboard new sourcing team members.Resolve escalated sourcing issuesRequirements for applicants:Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field.10+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain management, and project management, preferably in the manufacturing sector.4+ years of experience in a team lead or supervisory role.Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.Detail-oriented problem-solver with the ability to thrive in ambiguous situations with minimal direction.Strong desire to learn and grow within the company and the position.Ability to handle several assignments simultaneously.Proficiency in computer skills, including Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides; and basic Internet navigation skills.Basic knowledge of Solidworks, Salesforce, Looker, and mechanical print interpretation is a plus.Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesPersonal qualities:Detail-oriented problem solver with the ability to thrive in ambiguous situations with minimal direction.Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.A strong desire to learn and grow within the company and the position.Ability to handle several assignments simultaneously.Language skills - English C1 Xometry is an equal opportunity employer.
