Sourcing Coordinator

Pets + People is a leading manufacturer of pet and household consumer goods, partnering with top brands. They are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sourcing Coordinator to support the sourcing team in managing vendor communication, tracking sample development, and ensuring on-time delivery while maintaining quality and compliance standards. Responsibilities Support the sourcing process for new and existing consumer products, including identifying and vetting suppliers, requesting quotes, and maintaining vendor records Issue and manage sample requests; monitor development status to ensure timely production and delivery Coordinate with suppliers on product samples, pricing, testing, and packaging requirements Maintain accurate data in PLM, ERP, and sourcing systems, including cost sheets, lead times, and vendor profiles Partner closely with Product Development, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure product specifications and timelines are met Track supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, responsiveness) escalating issues when needed Support cost analysis and assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities or alternative sourcing options Help manage product testing, compliance documentation, and sustainability requirements as applicable Skills Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Merchandising, or related field 1–3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain coordination (consumer goods experience strongly preferred) Strong analytical and Excel skills; experience with ERP/PLM systems a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organized with strong follow-up and attention to detail Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment Benefits Hybrid role: three in-office days and two work from home days 20 additional work-from-home anywhere days Paid time off Healthy, dental, vision, and pet insurance 401k available Pet friendly office Company Overview At Pets + People, we make tails wag and customers smile with products brought to market through strategic licensing and innovation.
