Job Title: Solution EngineerClient: City of PhiladelphiaDuration: 04 MonthsLocation: Philadelphia, PANote: This is 100% remote role with virtual interview.Job Description:Develop custom components and connectors as required.Ensure solutions are secure, user-friendly, and mobile-responsive.Automate data workflows between PowerApps and other internal or external systems.Configure approvals, notifications, and business rules within Power Automate flows.Monitor and troubleshoot flows for reliability and efficiency.Create interactive dashboards and reports based on collected and existing data.Collaborate with stakeholders to develop KPIs and performance metrics.Ensure data models are optimized for performance and maintain data integrity.Develop role-based access and publish dashboards securely.Participate in user testing and iterative refinements.Responsible for developing and implementing application development tasks.Assists with deployment of applications and resources.Design and build model-driven and canvas apps based on departmental needs.Work Activities:Gather and document requirements from stakeholdersTranslate business needs into technical specificationsDesign scalable Power Platform architectureDevelop and deploy PowerApps (canvas/model-driven)Build and maintain automated workflows in Power AutomateEnsure data integration with existing systems (SQL, SharePoint, etc.)Define and implement security and governance policiesDevelop custom connectors or componentsConduct testing and quality assurance of apps and flowsProvide user support and technical troubleshootingConduct stakeholder reviews and feedback sessionsMonitor and maintain operational flows and app performanceCreate user guides, documentation, and training materialsEnsure accessibility, mobile responsiveness, and usability of PowerAppsDesign and implement KPIs and performance indicators in Power BIManage versioning, deployments, and release schedulesConduct regular team meetings and project updatesAdhere to data privacy and compliance standardsRequired Skills:Proficient in developing PowerApps (canvas and model-driven)Strong knowledge of Power Automate for automating business processesExperience with JSON, REST APIs, and custom connectorsFamiliarity with data integration using SharePoint, SQL Server, or DataverseUnderstanding of user experience (UX) design and responsive layoutsCompetency in debugging, performance optimization, and error handlingExperience with ArcGIS Enterprise system integration and enterprise geodatabases Required Experience:3+ years of hands-on experience with Power Platform developmentPrior work on enterprise-level apps with multiple stakeholdersExperience developing secure appsPrevious exposure to police department or public safety data workflows is a plusDemonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team"If you are: bright, motivated, skilled, a difference-maker, able to get things done, work with minimum direction, enthusiastic, a thinker, able to juggle and multi-task, communicate effectively, and lead, then we would like to hear from you.
